1911 census of England and Wales launched
Just to show they're not superstitious, the online 1911 census of England and Wales was launched today, January 13, 02009, by the United Kingdom's National Archives' partner FindMyPast.com, formerly 1837online.com. Unlike the disastrous launch of the 1901 census several years ago, this one works right out of the starting gate.
